Applying For Medicare: Part B

The quickest way to get part B is to go on line to Socialsecurity.gov/retirement. Follow the steps and pictures below.

1. The landing page will take you directly to the application.
2. Fill out the application completely, it uploads to their system.
3. In about two weeks you can go back into your account and actually see if your request was completed. If it was completed it will show your ID number and start dates for A&B. If it is still processing or there is an issue you can also see that.
4. Once you have your ID number you can choose a plan with the assistance of your licensed Medicare Agent.
